Stadia Savepoint: September updates

Article's hero media

It’s time to share another update in our Stadia Savepoint series, recapping the new games, features, and changes we made to the platform in September.

Players joined Kamala Khan, Iron Man, and Captain America to overcome evil in Marvel’s Avengers, shot hoops with the pros in NBA 2K21, and fought to escape an alien planet in Risk of Rain 2. All of these games, plus many others that arrived in September, are now available for purchase on the Stadia store. Stadia Pro subscribers gained instant access to more than 25 games, plus Free Play Days for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and The Crew 2.

We revealed new games coming soon for players to get excited about including a showcase of Immortals Fenyx Rising from Ubisoft, the action-packed open-world RPG available for pre-order that’s launching Dec. 3. Plus, Stadia is the only place where players will be able to try a demo of Immortals Fenyx Rising for themselves, arriving later this year. Our partners also shared news about other upcoming Stadia games, like Baldur’s Gate 3 (Oct. 6), Cake Bash (Oct. 15), and Hitman 3 (Jan. 20).

Yesterday’s Launch Night In event revealed that the all-new Chromecast with Google TV will add support for Stadia in the first half of 2021. Plus, as of this morning Dead by Daylight is now available on the Stadia store and in Stadia Pro with Crowd Choice, the new Stadia feature that lets you take control of the action as it unfolds live on YouTube.
