Walk us through your ARIAs outfit?
Absolutely! I'm Malaysian-Chinese, and I love wearing cultural clothing to special or formal events. I usually opt for Cheongsams (Dresses) but for the ARIAs, I wanted something more comfortable so I wore a cream-colored contemporary Chinese Samfu (Shirt and Pants combo) with a chic twist on the Pankou buttons.
For accessories, I paired the outfit with a red vintage style Chinese purse with red shoes, and rocked space buns for that 'Chun Li' look.
All in all, the outfit was very comfortable and I felt true to myself. Bonus points for rocking YouTube colors. Haha!
Did you consider pinching the hotel robe and wearing it?
What?? Me??? Noooo.... I would never. *Shifty eyes*
Pineapple on pizza, yes or no?
Absolutely yes, times 1000000000, and I will die on this hill.
It just makes sense!! The sweet, tangy, juicy pineapple contrasted against the salty, fatty pepperoni and cheese.
Salty and sweet, fatty and tangy. It's heaven! They pair beautifully!
What was your favourite memory from shooting Short & Suite?
It was such a privilege to meet super talented Australian artists!
I got to share a cake with Citizen Kay who was so totally cool and chill.
Mia Rodriguez and I exchanged numbers!
The boys from Lime Cordiale complimented my outfit and they were so great to chat with!
Meeting Troy Cassar-Daley was really cool. He's so animated and fun!
What was your favourite memory from the ARIA Awards?
Watching Ava Max perform! I love her!
Jessica Mauboy BLEW my socks off, which is saying a lot because I wasn't even wearing any!
They were incredible!
Wildest thing you've ever done in a hotel suite?
Film a video about "stealing" hotel items and stuffing my suitcase full of pillows and soaps.
Home or hotel?
I love hotels but nothing beats being at home where my favorite cup is, where I curl up to watch movies at night, and where I walk my dog everyday is just unmatched.
I always miss these little things every time I travel overseas.
What's your technique for jumping on a bed?
Jump high! And while still airborne, turn to face the ceiling so you land on your back! Then flap your limbs in excitement and relief because you've finally arrived.
What's your favourite sweet treat?
This is a really hard question because I've got so many but I love a good Ice Kacang and some Onde Onde. They're Malaysian desserts and so delicious.
I'll go for a Tiramisu too, if there's some lying around. And if there are Ferrero Rochers? I'm inhaling them.
