Introducing Pixel 10 Pro Fold: Google’s most durable foldable phone
Today, we’re announcing Pixel 10 Pro Fold, our most durable foldable yet. Pixel 10 Pro Fold represents the best of Google engineering and features a new gearless hinge, significant camera improvements, incredible performance and new helpful AI tools powered by our Tensor G5 processor.
Upgraded hardware
This phone’s sleek new design is crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum, and comes in Moonstone and Jade. It features a new gearless hinge that’s twice as durable as Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s, and it even has an IP68 water and dust resistance rating — a first for a foldable device. [1] This means your phone will have the same protection as the other Pixel 10 phones.
We also reengineered the Super Actua Flex Display to be more durable than before. The screen is built with ultra-thin glass and two layers of anti-impact film for added drop protection. These upgrades combined with the new hinge ensures that Pixel 10 Pro Fold can handle more than 200,000 folds. [2]
Both displays are also getting an upgrade. Like the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold features our largest inner display at 8 inches, plus a bigger 6.4-inch outer display thanks to smaller bezels. Both screens go up to 3000 nits, so whether you’re indoors or out in the sun, your display will be crystal clear.
A bigger battery to keep you charged longer
This phone has our biggest battery on a foldable device yet, with a battery life of up to 30+ hours. When you do need a quick charge, faster wired charging can get you to 50% battery in just 30 minutes with a compatible adaptor (sold separately). [3] Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also the first foldable with Qi2 charging built-in. With Pixelsnap, magnetic technology built right into the phone, you can pop the Pixelsnap Charger with Stand onto your phone even when it's unfolded, or prop your phone up with the Pixelsnap Ring Stand for hands-free streaming.
Better AI with Tensor G5
Like our other Pixel 10 phones, Pixel 10 Pro Fold is powered by our new custom Tensor G5 chip. This powerful processor delivers exceptional performance, advanced camera intelligence and advanced AI to make your life easier.
You’ll also get the same helpful AI features as the other Pixel 10 phones, including Gemini Live, Magic Cue and Daily Hub, plus powerful photography features including Add Me, Best Take and Camera Coach.
A new and improved foldable camera
It wouldn’t be a Pixel phone without our outstanding camera features. We’ve made significant improvements to level up your photography on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, including a new 48MP main camera as part of the advanced triple rear camera system. Together, this trio of cameras lets you get up close and personal with Macro Focus, zoom into faraway details with Super Res Zoom up to 20x and take amazing selfies with Rear Camera Selfie.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold also introduces Instant View, a new feature designed to help you make sure you get the perfect shot. When your phone is unfolded, you can preview your photos instantly, giving you a chance to quickly re-take a picture before the moment passes. This new addition joins other foldable camera features like Made You Look, Dual Screen Preview and Tabletop Mode.
The best of Pixel on the big screen
Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s large inner screen and unique form factor gives you new ways to multitask. With Split Screen, you can use two apps at once, and now you can adjust the size of each app to your liking. You can also use Drag and Drop to move media and other files across different apps.
We’re continuously working with developers across the Android ecosystem to optimise apps on your foldable. With a new game controller functionality on your outer display, you can now enjoy even more immersive gaming in titles like Asphalt Legends and Disney Speedstorm. We’ve also optimised streaming on Netflix and Disney+ for immersive streaming on the go.

Pixel 10 Pro Fold is available for pre-order today from Google Store and selected partners, and will start shipping from 9 October. It’s available in two expressive colours, Moonstone and Jade, and starts at $2699 MSRP.
