Improve ad performance with Travel Feeds in Search Ads

Examples of Travel Feeds in Search Ads that include feed data such as ratings and images

Every day, millions of people rely on Search Ads to explore destinations, find hotels and build travel itineraries. To help potential travelers get the most up-to-date and relevant info, advertisers have told us they want more opportunities to use Travel Feeds in Search Ads. Starting today, all hotel advertisers can now showcase feed data, such as hotels, prices, dates, ratings and images, in this ad format. We’re also experimenting with expanding this format to include things to do, car rentals and events.

Ads shown for the queries "Hotel du Jour Back Bay" and "Hotels in Boston" showcase prices and other helpful feed data.

Drive more engagement

Since introducing Travel Feeds in Search Ads to a small set of hotel advertisers last year, we’ve seen up to a 20% increase in click-through rates when advertisers participate in our full range of formats.1 This is a clear sign that these enhanced ads are capturing the attention of travelers searching for a place to stay. Because this format uses rich feed data, it’s easier for advertisers to showcase their available inventory. Potential travelers can rest assured that they can book featured properties for the exact prices and dates included in these ads. It’s also faster than ever to narrow down trip options through the ratings and images shown.

We’re experimenting with expanding Travel Feeds in Search Ads beyond hotels to things to do, car rentals and events in the coming months. This means that soon more advertisers will enjoy the benefits of dynamic feed data in other travel verticals.

Getting started

We’ve made it easy for advertisers to get started with Travel Feeds in Search Ads. For advertisers with a travel feed already linked in Google Ads, both new and existing Search Ads campaigns will automatically include relevant information from the feed. For advertisers who don't have a feed linked, set up is one-time and straightforward. To ensure flexibility, Google Ads has opt-out options at both the account and individual campaign levels.
