Drive with Halo on Waze

Building on a partnership that began in 2021, Waze is once again teaming up with Halo to celebrate the launch of Halo: Campaign Evolved, with a refreshed Halo experience. This time, we’re bringing back the legendary Master Chief voice navigation, and introducing his AI companion, Cortana, to drivers for the very first time.

This updated experience brings the iconic Master Chief back to your dashboard. His lines are refreshed but his legendary attitude remains exactly the same, giving you tactical updates like, “This is Spartan 117. Vehicle Delivery Confirmed. Let’s finish this mission.”

Cortana brings heart, wry humor, and a humanizing touch to the drive, no small feat for an AI hologram. She serves as the perfect guide for drivers stepping into the Master Chief’s massive shoes, offering seamless assistance with navigation lines like: “Red light camera reported ahead. Security protocols appear to be operational.”

To further bring you into the new Halo: Campaign Evolved experience, you can choose between Master Chief’s “Stoic” or Cortana’s “Vital” Moods on the Waze map, and swap your standard vehicle for the iconic “Warthog” or “Ghost” to start your mission.

This new driving experience is available globally in English and Spanish. Simply download the latest version of Waze and look for the Halo banner in the menu, or activate it now.
