Supercharging creativity with four Kenyan creators
[]

The African creator economy is growing fast, powered by originality, curiosity, and storytelling that resonates globally while staying rooted in local culture. But behind every inspiring post or video are hours of planning, researching, scripting, styling, shooting, and editing. The work is joyful, but it can also be demanding.

This festive season, we wanted to explore how AI could support creators, not replace their creativity. Through our #CreateTheSeason campaign, we invited four Kenyan creators: Adam Maina, Sharon Mwangi, Tara Nicole, and Eli Mwenda, to experiment with Gemini and see how it could support their workflows.

Each used it differently: planning travel itineraries, styling lookbooks, designing décor themes, or visualising event spaces. Across their unique approaches, one thread stood out: AI helped simplify the process, allowing more time for imagination and storytelling.

We spoke with lifestyle creator Tara Nicole about her experience. Full story coming soon.
