How Talwiinder is Reimagining Music Videos with Flow
Flow is an AI creative studio built with and for creatives using Google’s most advanced generative models. It transforms text prompts and reference imagery into cinematic clips and images, cohesive scenes, and immersive stories. Our mission is to empower creators globally to manifest their creative visions using Flow—whether that involves personal stories, short films, music videos, or brand ads. To ensure its resonance, we are collaborating with a diverse tapestry of talent from across the globe.
AI and the Future of Music Videos
To explore how technology can amplify human expression, we partnered with singer-songwriter, Talwiinder. First, Talwiinder’s music serves as a testament to love. Furthermore, his signature masked identity ensures a level of character consistency throughout his visual storytelling. Finally, for an artist juggling multiple compositions, AI serves as a powerful catalyst, allowing him to prototype and actualize complex visions with ease.

From Digital Art to Cinematic Reality
For his track 'Dil Mera Part 2,' Talwiinder drew inspiration from the digital artwork he saw of a knight. He envisioned this character as the protagonist of his next music video and shared that vision with filmmaker Bowdhitya. Traditionally, producing a story set in medieval times would have been out of reach for an independent creator like Talwiinder, but AI bridged the gap, turning their shared imagination into reality. Using Flow, the team traversed new creative territories, generating imagery that captured the very essence of the music.
“Since I’ve been using this tool for a while, it doesn’t even feel like a tool anymore. It feels like I'm working with a collaborator. I usually put the specifications in the prompt that I want to use this camera, I want to use this lens, I want the lighting setup to be like that. Nano Banana Pro, it's so smart, it gives you the exact results you want if you put the specifications about everything.”, says Bowdhitya.
“I was mind-blown to see what Flow did. Some of the shots and the detail is just amazing. There's one shot in particular where the character is walking through a fire and that touched my heart. We have tried other AI tools, but I believe Flow is the cleanest especially when the character is walking and the fire and the water, the crispiness, the detail is next level.”, says Talwiinder.

Future of music videos
“The way you talk to the technology matters a lot. You can't just give like, you know, a little bit and expect so much. You have to spend time with it. You have to teach it. And it's way more convenient and efficient. It gives you out-of-world visuals. That's what we try to aim for every time. And we're just getting started.”, says Talwiinder.
Flow opens up exciting new avenues for collaboration between artists and AI, leading to a future where artistic expression knows no bounds. We hope this collaboration with Talwiinder gives musicians worldwide a glimpse of the possibilities that emerge when human ingenuity meets AI, helping them tell their stories in ways we've only just begun to imagine.
