Complete merchant verification as per RBI regulations

RBI regulations require developers in India to complete mandatory KYC verification by 15 September 2026 to process cross-border payments. International sales will be paused for developers who miss this deadline.

Our authorized partner, BillDesk, is helping Google Play developers navigate this process. Developers should initiate their KYC applications at the earliest to avoid business disruptions.

Log in to your Google Play Console to get started. If your verification is already in progress, look for emails sent to your payment profile's primary contact with the subject: “Verification required with BillDesk to receive payments on Google Play.”

Missing the deadline

Developers can still apply for KYC verification, but their cross-border sales will be paused until this process is complete. Sales within India will remain unaffected.
