To help support India’s diverse and innovative storytellers, we announced a new collaboration with the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT), at the annual YouTube Impact Summit. The initiative will focus on equipping students, professionals, and creators with practical knowledge in animation, visual effects, gaming, and extended reality (AVGC-XR).

Building skills for the future of creativity

Our collaboration will focus on a few key areas: First, we’re establishing “Create with AI,” a new funding commitment to support creative projects that use artificial intelligence. This will include AI skilling programs to help students and creative professionals get hands-on with emerging technologies.

YouTube will also support IICT by organizing webinars and expert-led workshops to connect the academic and industry communities.

To help make this knowledge available to more people, IICT will develop its official presence on YouTube. The channel will share educational content, thought leadership from experts, and training modules, making creative learning more accessible for aspiring creators across India.

By combining academic expertise with industry insights, we hope to strengthen India’s position in the global creative economy.
