We're continually inspired by the ingenuity of startups across Africa, and since 2018, the Google for Startups Accelerator Africa program has been our way of supporting the dynamic tech ecosystem throughout the continent.

And now we're thrilled to open applications for our 2024 Cohort!

Over the years, this program has supported 106 startups who have collectively raised over $263 million and created more than 2,800 jobs. We can't wait to discover and support the next generation of African innovators who will shape the future of technology on the continent.

Who Should Apply?

We're seeking Seed to Series A tech startups based in Africa or those developing Africa-centric solutions. We are particularly interested in startups addressing critical areas such as healthcare, education, agriculture, finance, and sustainability.
