Aussie startups: Join Google Australia’s AI First Accelerator to shape the future of AI innovation

Australia has a proud history of pioneership in technology. One such example is the Australian startup Where 2 Technologies, which led to the development of Google Maps.

Now, we are at a pivotal moment in AI innovation– with new applications transforming fields such as healthcare, sustainability and conservation in Australia.

To empower AI-focused startups to grow rapidly and responsibly, we're excited to bring the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First program to Australia for the first time. Under the Digital Future Initiative, this program is designed specifically for Australian startups building AI solutions. It builds on our commitment to foster local AI innovation through initiatives such as the recent AI Sprint and Google Certificates.

About the program:

It’s a 10-week equity-free accelerator program for Seed and Series A stage Australian startups building AI and ML-driven platforms and products. The accelerator connects founders with the best people, products and practices to help them grow, with Google’s AI and ML technical expertise and global networks to support startups succeed. Here's what selected startups can expect:

  • Mentorship: Hands-on guidance from Google AI experts to address unique challenges.
  • Technical Support: Deep dives into AI tools and infrastructure, including free access to cloud credits for eligible startups.
  • Founders' Network: Connect and collaborate with a cohort of top-tier AI startups from across the country and globally.
  • Workshops: Practical bootcamps on UX/product design, marketing, sales, leadership, and setting effective objectives.
