Meet the 2024 Google for Startups Accelerator: Canada Cohort
This summer we celebrated the fifth anniversary of the Google for Startups Accelerator: Canada program by putting out a call for technology startups leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to apply to our latest cohort, kicking off this fall.
We were blown away by the quality of the applications we received, and worked hard to narrow it down to the 14 startups joining the class of 2024. Once again this year, we have incredible startups from coast to coast, tackling challenges and creating innovative solutions across industries including healthcare, cyber security, entertainment, logistics and more. We're excited and inspired by the incredible work these startups are doing and we can’t wait to get started with them.
Let’s hear from some of the founders themselves:
Throughout the three month equity free program, startups will have access to Google experts and technology to help them address their most pressing technical and business needs. The cohort will receive mentorship and technical project support from Google and Google Cloud, deep dives and workshops focused on areas like product design, customer acquisition and leadership development; and will tackle sprint projects focused on the development of their AI and machine learning technology. To date, over 100 participating Canadian companies have collectively raised more than $395M CAD and hired over 900 new employees after having gone through the program.
And with that, meet the fifth cohort of Google for Startups Accelerator: Canada!
