Meet the creators behind the new state-of-the-art studio in North Vancouver

Seven years ago, creators Mia and Kourosh opened a YouTube channel about gaming. Fast forward to the present, where they and their partner Iman now have two thriving YouTube channels (Mia Plays, 618K subscribers, and Kouman, 456K subscribers) a new podcast channel, and just opened a brand new 4,000 square foot studio in North Vancouver for their content business.

The three creators have amassed a dedicated global following, with a combined reach of over 1M subscribers, 600M+ views, and content spanning gaming, challenges, food, and more. Their channels, entirely in Farsi with subtitles in English, have attracted viewers from Canada, the US, and Europe.

“When we started Mia’s channel on YouTube seven years ago, we could not have anticipated that it would turn into a viable career for us all”, said Kourosh Zarandooz. “With the growth of the two channels, we’ve been able to build a content business, hire a team, and now open this studio in Vancouver. We can’t wait to continue to grow, with more channels, and growing our team and footprint along the way.”

The two-story studio, featuring dedicated filming sets and a workspace, will allow the creators to elevate their production quality, expand their team, and explore new creative avenues.
