Welcoming the Inaugural Class of Google for Startups Accelerator: Apps 2024



In July, we announced the Google for Startups Accelerator: Apps program, our very first app only Accelerator program. We're now excited to welcome the 20 new Android app startups to our program!

We are thrilled to support India's most innovative technology startups with a range of innovative solutions to tackle pressing challenges in areas like edutech, healthcare, fintech, climate tech, and beyond.

Here’s a brief of the class.

Appreciate : A fintech platform democratizing finance for India, making investments and credit more accessible.

BeBetta : A gamified rewards app where users can play casual games and enter into sports predictions to earn our game currency and in return for these coins they get access to amazing rewards.

BharatNXT : A single platform to make all your business payments using credit cards.

Cookr : An omni-channel D2C marketplace offering fresh, natural, organic, pure, and healthier food and food products.

DroobiSmit India : A digital platform that helps their clients to design tailored metabolic health solutions through a blend of technology and personalized guidance.

Fitterfly : A health-tech company working in the field of Digital Therapeutics for chronic disease management.

HomeGround : An AI powered platform for cricketers to analyze their training and match videos and up-skill their game.

Kazam : An agnostic EV charging software platform building India's largest smart and affordable EV charging network.

Kidzovo: An interactive content platform that combines content from top kids content creators with AI powered interactive learning to make screen time healthy for kids.

Kuddle : An all-in-one pet care platform offering at-home services, personalized care recommendations, and a curated e-commerce store, simplifying pet parenting through a seamless, tech-driven experience.

LISSUN : A mental health platform providing personalized, tech-driven solutions for children, schools, and corporates, integrating therapy into everyday healthcare to make support accessible and impactful.

Namma Yatri : A driver-first community focussed mobility service offering affordable & accessible urban transport.

Schooglink : Delivers affordable and quality education using a tech driven, hybrid model of learning, with localized vernacular content, focussed on the K-12 segment.

SpeakX : An AI-powered personal companion that makes English learning engaging, personalized, and accessible. It empowers users to enhance communication skills for social and professional success.

STEMpedia : An innovative tech-education platform offering AI, coding, robotics, ML, and AR-VR for K-12 students and educators.

SuperPe : A global commerce company that allows you to use your local payment methods to work everywhere across the world.

Tap Health : A platform for early illness detection and affordable chronic conditions management.

Toonsutra : Digital storytelling home for global webtoons, comics, graphic novels, and manga in local languages.

Univest : Offers timely entry and exit signals for Indian equity and derivatives markets to help users generate wealth.

Yellow : Helps Indians protect their families from financial difficulties and disputes after the death of a loved one by providing a platform for comprehensive Will creation and post-demise services.

We kicked-off the program this week with an intensive, week-long bootcamp at the Google Bengaluru office. Over the next three months, we'll be working closely with these startups, providing them with the tools and expertise to build and scale exceptional Android apps. We'll support them in overcoming technical challenges, refining their business strategies, and helping them find more avenues for growth and expansion.
