Go Bananas with Illumination’s Despicable Me 4 on Waze

Your next road trip is about to get a whole lot more...despicable. Starting today, you can check out Waze’s latest driving experience celebrating the release of Illumination’s Despicable Me 4 in theaters on July 3. The Minions are taking over your Waze app and bringing their signature brand of mayhem along for the ride — so expect the unexpected.

Now you can jump behind the wheel with the Minions, and get ready for the yellow chaos agents to share custom navigations. Don't be surprised if they throw in a bit of Minionese, banana references or random sound effects along the way.

Choose between the "Despicable" or "Mega Despicable" Moods. In "Despicable" mode, you may hear a Minion grumble when there’s traffic, while in "Mega Despicable" mode, they might scream to take the scenic route. You can also transform your Waze vehicle into Gru's iconic car: the Gru-Mobile.

This experience is available globally with voice navigation in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Make sure you have the latest version of Waze and look for the Despicable Me 4 banner in the left menu of the app, or activate it now.
