Meet the 4 Indian artists in YouTube Music’s Foundry Class of 2026
Since 2015, YouTube Music's Foundry program has had one clear mission: to support the diverse and innovative voices of the independent music community and help them build sustainable careers on their own terms. We’ve proud to have worked with more than 250 artists across the world - including incredible Indian alumni like Kayan, Lost Stories, Seedhe Maut and Noor Chahal among others. Today, we're thrilled to continue fueling this musical renaissance by introducing the Indian voices joining the global Foundry Class of 2026.
In India, music has always been a deeply visual culture, rooted in storytelling, identity, and vibrant expression. A new generation of Indian artists, from regional hip-hop pioneers to classical music reimagineers, are using YouTube to share their unique visions with the world. We are committed to providing these independent artists with the tools and support they need to build their own unique visual universes, from Shorts to the living room screen - and turn local fandom into a global movement.
Meet the Foundry Class of 2026 from India:
Antara and Ankita Nandy, a viral musical duo from North East of India have wowed audiences with their unique brand of musical renditions using the Ukulele and household items for percussion.
“We were waiting for somebody to give us a platform to showcase our talent and that’s when we realised that we could build our own platform - YouTube did that for us. Our tours are sold out today, but it began with one video shot on our phones, on YouTube.” ~ Antara and Ankita Nandy.
Damini Bhatla, a classically trained vocalist bridging regional cinema with the global indie stage for a loyal audience.
“When I'm creating, I feel alive, in touch with my inner child and emotions I've never felt before. Whether it's a song or a personal diary through a vlog, YouTube is where I bring that feeling into people's homes, their headphones, their everyday lives. That connection is everything to me." ~ Damini Bhatla
Garvit-Priyansh, the duo are redefining the intersection of Indian Classical and contemporary Bollywood pop with cinematic sound.
"When we began, it was just about creating music from the heart and sharing it with the world. YouTube became the platform where our songs travel beyond our studios, connecting us with people across the globe and supporting us to evolve with every song and every release." ~ Garvit & Priyansh
OutStation, the rising Indian boyband has captured a devoted fanbase built through sincere camaraderie and viral performances.
“YouTube is honestly where we feel closest to our fans. There's something about being able to show up for them, whether it's a late night vlog or a live moment and knowing they're right there with us. We've built something real here, and we're just getting started.” ~ OutStation
