Announcing the next cohort of Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First in India

The global AI narrative has moved from promise to tangible, rapid impact. This transition is most pronounced in India, now the world's second-largest GenAI startup hub following a remarkable 3.7X growth in its Generative AI landscape. Critically, it is enabling lean AI companies to achieve substantial revenue and serving as a powerful engine for exponential growth in established startups. Entri, a leading learning platform and our accelerator alumni, leveraged Gemini and increased user retention by 20% percent - watch their startup story.
Today, however, the most compelling application of this speed is the potential to tackle systemic, complex challenges across society and industry. To support this vital trajectory, we are excited to announce the 20 AI startups joining the latest cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First, selected from over 1600 applications.
Google’s support for these startups designed to move founders beyond foundational hurdles and into scaled, impactful deployment. This support encompasses not only Google Cloud infrastructure and access to cutting-edge Gemini models but also deep technical mentorship and go-to-market strategies.
The new cohort’s strategic focus directly aligns with the IndiaAI Mission's startup pillar, prioritizing solutions leveraging Agentic AI (45%) and Multimodal AI (30%), with the remaining 25% dedicated to foundational models and Responsible AI.
