Google for Startups AI First Accelerator: introducing our first cohort of Aussie AI innovators!
Australia has a vibrant startup industry and a proud history of pioneership in technology. To support this legacy and support startups to thrive using AI technology, we recently launched the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First program in Australia for the first time.
Under the Digital Future Initiative, this program is designed to help Australian startups that are building and discovering AI and machine learning (ML) solutions grow rapidly and responsibly. It expands on our commitment to foster local AI innovation through initiatives such as the recent AI Sprint and Google Certificates.
It’s a 10-week hybrid accelerator tailored for Seed or Series A stage startups that are focused on AI – offering mentorship from Google AI experts, technical support, networking and workshops.

- Marqo: A platform to train, embed and retrieve embeddings, empowering users to build powerful retrieval applications for search, recommendations and RAG over any data at scale.
- Sauce AI: Real-time, AI customer insights for product and customer-facing teams.
- Springboards: AI and Human creative tool designed to inspire and accelerate the best creative minds.
