Ben leads the Learning & Sustainability organization at Google. He oversees the teams focused on harnessing technology to scale learning and education around the world and drive environmental impact.
The Global Sustainability Team (GST) drives the development and implementation of Google’s cross-company strategy to accelerate the transition to a clean future. The team’s focus includes leading initiatives that prioritize climate resilience, clean energy adoption, greenhouse gas reductions and reporting, water stewardship and scaling AI products that can solve pressing environmental challenges.
The Learning team focuses on ensuring learning science underpins how our AI capabilities can be best leveraged across academic and learning product features within Gemini, Classroom, NotebookLM, YouTube and Google Search.
