The Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) district, which serves 70,000 students and employs more than 5,000 educators, faced the challenge of providing engaging, personalized learning to students with varying needs. So APS is using Gemini to help teachers deliver more personalized content tailored to each student's needs and interests, save faculty and staff time on time-consuming tasks and help students learn with confidence.
With Gemini, teachers are saving a significant amount of time on creating everything from tests and rubrics to lesson plans. One teacher reported cutting weekly lesson-planning from four hours to twenty minutes and reducing her grant-writing process from several working sessions throughout the month to a single session.
As APS aims to equip students with AI literacy, the district is launching a Gemini pilot for students aged 13 and up this coming fall. Watch the video below to learn more.
