Today, we are announcing three new Gemini certifications designed to validate core skills in using Gemini and other Google AI tools that can enhance learning, creativity and productivity. Those who successfully pass the assessment will be awarded a verifiable and easy-to-share digital certificate, which they can use for PD credits or showcase to their broader education community.

We have created three distinct certifications tailored to key audiences:

• Gemini Certified Educator: for teaching innovation and student success.
• Gemini Certified University Student: for academic excellence and professional preparedness.
• Gemini Certified Student (K12) for responsible, informed use by high schoolers. Please note a foundational course completion is required before the assessment can be taken.

All certification exams are multiple choice and offered completely free of charge. They’ll be available in 12 languages starting today, with localization coming to student exams soon, and an exam for university faculty coming next month.
