Use AI to find exactly the right clothes, try on makeup and more

Whether you’re adding skinny jeans back into your closet or looking for a new makeup aesthetic for spring, Google Shopping has a few immersive shopping features to help. By bringing together Google’s AI models with our Shopping Graph, it’s easier than ever to turn your fashion and beauty visions into reality and make more informed buying decisions.
Bring your fashion vision to life
People shop on Google more than a billion times per day1 — and some of those journeys are more complicated than others. It can be hard to translate a vision for an item that fits your personal style (say, “colorful midi dress with big daisies”) into something you can buy and have in your closet by Friday. In fact, more than half of shoppers tell us they’ve struggled to find a specific item of clothing when they have a vision in mind.2
Now, all mobile users in the U.S. can match what they’re picturing to real-world products on Search and the Shopping tab. Previously an experiment in Labs, vision match lets you describe any garment you have in mind and then uses AI image generation to show you a few ideas of what it could look like and similar shoppable products.
To give it a try, search for any garment on your mind — include as many details as you like — and scroll to the “Can’t find it? Create it” prompt. From there, we’ll suggest some ideas to get you started and you can further refine your vision and browse products you can buy. You can also find vision match by navigating to the left-hand panel in the Shopping tab and tapping “Create & shop.”
Try out beauty products and new looks
More than half of Americans who use makeup products actively seek inspiration and ideas for makeup online.3 But finding makeup inspiration you can shop online isn’t always easy — and even if you find a celebrity whose glam you'd like to try, you can't see how it would look on you. Our AR beauty features make it easier to envision products on yourself and we’re now making them even better with the help of Gemini models. Beginning to roll out this week, U.S. shoppers can try on and shop beauty looks with multiple makeup products virtually, inspired by celebrities, influencers and beauty trends.
When you search on mobile for certain celebrity makeup looks or terms like “spring makeup,” you can try on products inspired by that look. For example, searching “soft glam” might offer you a selection of neutral eyelash, a rosy blush and a subtle lip gloss, all applied virtually to your face. Just tap “See the looks on you” when browsing Search on mobile, and click “try it on” to get started.
Instantly explore full makeup styles, combining lipsticks, mascaras, eyeshadows and eyeliners from various brands — all at once, thanks to Google’s latest Machine Learning technology.
Try even more clothes on different body types
We launched our virtual try-on tool to make it easier to visualize garments on models that resonate most with you. Since then, we’ve expanded from tops to dresses, and we’re rolling out a new experience so that when you shop with Google you can also visualize pants and skirts from hundreds of brands across the web.
Now, whether you need flattering skinny jeans for a night out, a silk skirt for the office or comfortable linen pants for summer, finding the right style is only a few clicks away. Use Google Search or the Google Shopping tab on mobile and desktop to look for pants or skirts and select any result that includes a “try on” badge. From there, you can see what the garment looks like on a diverse set of real models ranging from XXS-XXL. To improve length accuracy and brand styling, we’ve updated our Machine Learning models to generate the full look from the matching top all the way to the shoes the model is wearing. This feature is rolling out to shoppers to bring more visual inspiration to your shopping journeys on Google, helping you better visualize how items fit your style so you can feel more confident when you buy something.
