2026 marks the Year of the Horse, and we’re launching new ways to connect with the holiday’s traditions of strength, adventure and energy.

On Google TV, explore shows that embody the horse's spirit, from equine adventures to blockbuster hits released during previous years of the Horse. Look out for a global Doodle honoring the year of the fire horse by showcasing the many ways people celebrate its vibrant and dynamic spirit. You can use Gemini to prepare for the holiday, whether to learn about traditions or get ideas for your family’s reunion dinner. For our users in APAC, Google Play has special Lunar New Year events and offers throughout the store, including a special promotions hub page for gamers.

You can also find more ways to get festive with our ongoing features. Update your browser with designs from our Asian & Pacific Islander Artists Series, find local spots with the Asian-owned attribute in Search and Maps, explore America’s Chinatowns on Google Arts & Culture, or use our festive background in your next Google Meet.

Happy Lunar New Year!
