Startups focused on AI are influencing so many areas of our lives. They’re defining the future of education, advancing healthcare innovation, reinventing collaboration and more.

To help AI-focused startups scale quickly while building responsibly, we’re announcing the launch of the Google for Startups Cloud AI Accelerator. This program builds on the success of our recent AI First accelerators and targets startups building AI solutions based in the U.S. and Canada.

Run in partnership with Google Cloud, this equity-free program provides 10 weeks of hands-on mentorship and technical project support to startups using AI in their core service or product. Selected startups will collaborate with a cohort of peer founders and engage with leaders across Google. The curriculum will give founders access to the latest Google AI tools (including Vertex AI, Gemini and more) and will also include workshops on tech and infrastructure, user experience (UX) and product, growth, sales, leadership and more.

Scott Patterson is the chief technology officer of Modulo Bio, a startup focusing on neuroimmunology, and a Google for Startups accelerator alum. Scott says the program helped streamline how they built their product. “This accelerator kicked off the buildout of a large language model (LLM) research platform and gave us the opportunity to collaborate with technical experts across LLMs, cloud and scientific research and development,” he explains. “Our mentors were incredibly supportive and motivating to both the technical work and our fundraising efforts.”

Generative AI startup BrainLogic AI, another recent alumni, significantly increased their speed and progress, doubling from 1 to 2 Million users during the program. “Google Mentors shared their expertise generously and were crucial in enabling us to achieve six months of progress in only 10 weeks,” says Chief Technology Officer Nicolas Loeff. And startups like Aptori, which helps users find issues and assess risk in their code, were able to build and deploy new product features during the program with Google Cloud and Gemini.

The program will feature the selected startups at Cloud Next 2025 in April and culminates in June with a high profile Demo Day for potential partners, customers and investors. After graduation, startups join the Google for Startups Accelerator community, where they will receive ongoing support and can build connections with like-minded founders, mentors and investors.

Applications are open until February 4, 2025. We encourage interested and eligible startups based in North America to apply and share with your networks.
