Health Guardian features 1 , our new proactive health and safety tools, are rolling out in the Google Health app, giving Pixel Watch users more ways to prioritize their well-being directly from their wrists. Users can set up blood pressure trends, insulin resistance trends, and sleep breathing quality metrics in the app beginning this week. The tools will be included free with Pixel Watch 3, 4, and 5 devices, with the first trend reports arriving in early October. 2

Fitbit Air users will be able to see their insulin resistance and blood pressure trends with a Google Health Premium subscription later this year.

Backed by clinical research, the new Health Guardian features work continuously in the background to track subtle physiological shifts over time. The Health Guardian features suite also includes our first-of-its-kind Breathing Emergency Detection for Pixel Watch 4 and 5 users in select European countries. It’s designed to automatically prompt a call to emergency services if a user experiences severe drops in blood oxygen. 3
