4 ways Pixel’s Magic Cue can help you save time

Our phones are supposed to help keep our lives organized, but it can often feel like we’re doing the work for them — sifting through emails, photos, reservations details and more to stay on track. That’s one reason we built Magic Cue, a new AI feature for Pixel 10 that intelligently anticipates your needs, linking information across your apps to offer help right when you need it and make planning less of a chore. Here are four ways Magic Cue puts the answers you’re looking for just a tap away.
1. Simplify your travel prep
Let's say you need to call your airline to change your seat. When you start the call, Magic Cue can populate flight details from your itinerary in Gmail, so you have them ready. And if you open the Pixel Weather app while you’re packing, it’ll display the weather at your destination based on your itinerary once you get close to your trip. It can even pull relevant outdoor events — like a picnic or a baseball game — from your Gmail or Calendar, giving you a heads-up on activities to pack for.

2. Locate details without the digging
When someone asks for details about a dinner reservation, Magic Cue can retrieve the location and time from your calendar or a confirmation email. It presents this information as a simple suggestion, so you can share it directly in your messaging app. This contextual assistance removes the need to hunt for information, making it easier to keep friends in the loop.

3. Find the perfect photo in an instant
We’ve all been there: A friend asks for a specific photo and you find yourself endlessly scrolling through your gallery. Whether they’re asking for “that picture from the park last week” or a screenshot of a recipe, Magic Cue works to understand the request. 1 It’ll search for the right image, allowing you to share it without leaving your conversation.
4. Stay ahead of your day with Daily Hub
Magic Cue also works inside Daily Hub, a new personalized daily digest. It will surface reminders from your favorite Google apps, so you can see what's coming up on your calendar.
Perhaps most importantly, Magic Cue provides these helpful suggestions while keeping your information private and secure. This is made possible by the powerful Tensor G5 chip and the latest version of Gemini Nano, our AI model designed to run on-device. Control is always in your hands — you can enable or disable Magic Cue at any time and manage which apps it has access to.
Magic Cue is just one of the latest ways we’re using AI to make Pixel more helpful, saving you time so you can focus on what’s ahead.
