For users that get enrolled in the early access, your voice assistant will get upgraded from Google Assistant to Gemini, making it more conversational and capable than ever. This core update is included with your device at no extra cost. More advanced capabilities like Gemini Live and the ability to search your camera history and create automations via your voice will require a Google Home Premium subscription. There are two primary ways you can access Gemini for Home voice assistant via your speakers and displays — here’s how:
