Create presentations with Nano Banana Pro in Mixboard and more

Mixboard is an AI experiment from Google Labs designed to help you explore, expand and refine ideas. It offers a canvas for you to visualize different ideas using images or text. Experiment with all kinds of projects, whether that’s a DIY project, a product design or the menu and decor for your holiday party.

Here are a few recent updates to try:

Turn your Mixboards into presentations with Nano Banana Pro

Mixboard can now transform the content from your main board into a compelling presentation. Mixboard combines context from your board and your input— including format, presentation focus and your preferred visual style — to build beautifully designed presentations. With Nano Banana Pro, you can elevate your presentation’s content to stunning, higher-fidelity visuals and text to easily communicate your ideas.

Explore in new ways

Mixboard allows you to easily generate unique reference visuals or bring your own references to serve as a strong foundation for any project. Today we’re expanding the types of content you upload to Mixboard, so your boards can have a consistent starting point to build from. For instance, we’ve added a “selfie” camera directly into Mixboard so you can easily add photos of yourself — perfect if you’re using Mixboard to get wardrobe inspo. And we’ve expanded the types of files we support, even adding PDFs.

To make edits to your board, you can now doodle directly on images for more controlled edits. Just mark the area, describe it and watch it appear. You can also doodle to make edits to your presentations.

Create across multiple boards

We recently expanded the size of a Mixboard so you have a larger canvas for all your ideas. Starting today, we’re also offering multiple boards per project. This means you can have different boards for different categories or themes — for instance, a project brainstorming board, a board for odds and ends you come across while working and a board for your final vision.
