Here’s how we're celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month
This Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, celebrate the cultures, traditions and stories of the Asian and Pasifika communities with Google. And get to know the creators who are weaving their heritage into their work.
Meet the man behind the music
Born in India and raised in the U.S., genre-defying singer-songwriter Talwiinder built a cross-continental fan base by blending his Punjabi roots with modern electric and R&B music.
For the music video of his latest track, ‘'Dil Mera Part 2," Talwiinder wanted to match the song’s boundary pushing energy and marry his innovative sound with a medieval aesthetic. As part of our recent Google Flow collaboration, Talwiinder and filmmaker Bowdhitya bridged the gap between imagination and reality by using Flow to generate intricate fire, water and character sequences and bring the concept to life.
The result was mind-blowing. "Some of the shots and the detail is just amazing,” Talwiinder said. “Especially when the character is walking and the fire and the water, the crispiness, the detail is next-level."
See their AI-driven artistry in action in the full music video and go behind the scenes to learn how it was made.
